How to Share Google Search Console Access

Search Console helps us review how your website appears in Google Search and investigate indexing issues.

Before you start

A property owner must add our account. Use the exact Google-account email in your onboarding checklist. Our starting permission for ongoing SEO work is Full user. We will explain separately if an owner-level task requires additional access.

Add our account

  1. Open Google Search Console and select the property for the correct website.
  2. Open Settings, then Users and permissions.
  3. Choose Add user and enter our Google-account email.
  4. Select Full, or the permission specified in your checklist, and save.
  5. Check that our email appears in the user list with the intended permission.

If you have more than one property

Share the property identified in your checklist. If you see both a domain property and several URL-prefix properties, tell us what is listed so we can identify the right one.

If Users and permissions is unavailable

You may have user access without owner permission. Ask the property owner to add us. If ownership is missing or needs verification, we will identify the appropriate verification work with you.

Let us know when you are finished

After you send the invitation or add our account, tell us which account you shared. We will check the permissions and confirm that access is working.
