How to Grant GoDaddy Delegate Access

GoDaddy’s delegate access lets our team work with the products you authorize using our own account.

Before you start

Sign in as the GoDaddy account owner. Use Des Moines Creative as the delegate name and the invitation email from your onboarding checklist.

Use Domains Only for domain work, or Products & Domains when the requested work includes hosting or other products. Your checklist will identify which applies.

Invite our team

  1. Open your GoDaddy account’s Delegate Access page.
  2. Under People who can access my account, choose Invite to Access.
  3. Enter the delegate name and invitation email.
  4. Choose the access level in your checklist and send the invitation.
  5. If domain access is needed, review the delegate permissions for the relevant domain folder and enable management access for the domains we need. Use the official domain-permissions guide linked on this page.

Choose the right permissions

Domain folder permissions are separate from the invitation. Management access is needed for routine domain work; transfer access should be enabled only for an agreed transfer task. Purchase access is not part of our standard access request.

If access is incomplete

If we can open the account but cannot see the domain or product, we will ask you to review the assigned permissions. You can also check whether the invitation is still pending.

Let us know when you are finished

After you send the invitation or add our account, tell us which account you shared. We will check the permissions and confirm that access is working.
